Alaska Football Camp Helps Players Achieve Full Potential

The Alaska Football Power Camp continues to teach football enthusiasts the fundamentals of the sport and helps develop their skills with the help of the best football coaches in the country.
Camp director is former professional Spanish football player of Real Madrid and the founder-director of Makati Football School Tomas Lozano.

The camp is open for girls and boys who are three to 18 years old and is being held at the Alabang Country Club, Army/Ascom football field and Emperador Stadium in Mckinley Hills, Taguig,
“The primary objective of the Alaska Power Camp Program is player development. We provide the best possible organized football training environment for young players in a friendly, fun and positive atmosphere. The training sessions are structured to enable each player to reach his/her full potential for their specific development stage. Moreover, through participation we work hard to guide and nurture our players by building character and teaching life skills to enhance their personal growth,” said Lozano.

Camp participants will benefit from the experience and knowledge of former and present members of the Philippine National Football Team Azkals as well as First Division players of the United Football League as coaches and trainers.

“The Alaska Power Camp Program is player-focused. At all times the welfare of our players is of first and paramount importance. The camp provides each player a unique experience in which positive values and behavior can be realized. The program focuses on enjoyment and the general and technical development of the player without the pressure to win or get results,” said Lozano.

Sports play an important role in instilling the value of discipline, hard work, teamwork and determination. Alaska hopes not only to teach the sport of football but to also inculcate these desired traits among the young participants.

“Winning games and scoring goals are important of course; however, enjoyment and personal satisfaction are even more important for children at young ages. Placing more emphasis on enjoyment and the general and technical development of the player will make winning much easier later,” said Lozano.

In helping the youth become better football players through the football camp Alaska also helps them become valued members of the community.

“Our philosophy is that the game belongs to the children who enjoy playing it hence we encourage the love of the game with an atmosphere where the children can shine without feeling pressure,” said Lozano.
The Alaska Power Camp has produced some of the best football players in the country.

“Many players have attended the Alaska Power Camps and have been very successful both in the local and international football scene. These include Aly Borromeo and Freddy Gonzalez both many-time member of the national team,” said Lozano.

Alaska through the Alaska Power Camp Program provide players from a very tender age their basic training needs that help them develop into good and solid players.
