Train like a champion at Alaska Volleyball Power Camp 2016
Calling all girls who want to play like a champion. Learn the fundamentals of volleyball by joining the Alaska volleyball camp for girls five to 18 years old.
Volleyball star Michele Gumabao, who played for the De La Salle Lady Spikers for four years (2010-2013), will lead a team of volleyball experts in teaching aspiring young girls the most important aspects of the game.
The camp will be held at the Ateneo De Manila University Grade School covered courts. Module 1 will be held April 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 27, 30, May 1 & 4. Module 2 will be held May 11, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22, 25, 28, 29 & June 1 from 1 to 4 p.m.
A second venue is De La Salle Zobel with Module 1 on April 18, 19, 21, 25, 26, 28, May 2, 3, 5 & 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Alaska power camp will not just teach skills. It will also teach the value of proper nutrition for the growth and development of the players with the safety and well-being of the players as top priority.
The volleyball power camp embodies Alaska’s philosophy that sports can instill the value of discipline, hard work, teamwork and determination among the girls.
The Alaska power camp will help young girls develop the most important skills in volleyball as well as the fundamental values and necessary attributes for success not just in sports but in everyday life.
